Under the ‘Adopt a Station Scheme’ artist Lynette Gray was able to find a new use for the empty rooms at Kinghorn Station. The gallery and studios opened in 2010.
Now refurbished, the upper floor contains Lynette and Douglas Gray’s studios, while the former ladies waiting room on the ground floor has been transformed into a gallery where exhibitions change throughout the year and often feature invited artists.
Kinghorn Gallery maintains the station garden. In 2015 it won a platinum award, being judged ‘Best Kept Station in Scotland’. The gallery is open on Saturdays throughout the year from 10 – 4. Studios by appointment only.
1 – 8 June 2024. “Guiding Light”, an exhibition of work by artist Claire Wills.
A journey focusing on Scottish lighthouses and seascapes. Open daily 10 – 4
